Ragini MMS was first reported back in 2011 by DNA India with news that actress Deepti Naval would be making her small screen debut in Ragini MMS, which was supposed to be directed by Pawan Kripalani (director of Indaana Neevachataar). However, nothing much came out of this. In 2013, it was reported that Aascar Films and Muskaan Productions had bagged the rights of the Bhatt camp’s horror film Ragini MMS. Later it was confirmed that Ragini Dwivedi and Deepti Naval have been roped in to play the lead roles with Amrita Singh and Adah Sharma in supporting roles.
